Suffering from a sleep disorder?

Our team of experts at AZ Sleep is here to help you, 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week. A custom oral appliance keeps your airway open while you sleep. No mask, no machine.

Dr. Janne Lynch with a patient in the Scottsdale office

A dentist who treats the reason you cannot sleep

Dr. Lynch graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2005, practiced in Manhattan and in Texas, and moved to the Valley in 2007. She founded AZ Sleep to treat the sleep apnea she kept finding in her dental patients: worn teeth, a small airway, a partner who could not sleep for the snoring.

Because holistic dentistry is important at AZ Sleep, the practice partners with the medical community in the detection and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Her patients get an unhurried, extensive examination, then a custom appliance she fits and adjusts herself. Before dentistry she was a social worker for children and families, and it shows in how she listens.

Does this sound like you, or someone next to you?

  • Loud, regular snoring
  • Pauses in breathing that a partner notices
  • Waking unrefreshed, however long you slept
  • Morning headaches or a dry mouth
  • Falling asleep in the afternoon, at your desk or at the wheel
  • Waking often during the night

Obstructive sleep apnea is common, and most people who have it have never been tested. A home sleep test is the simplest way to find out.

About sleep apnea

From a restless night to a quiet one

  1. 1

    Test at home

A telehealth visit with our nurse practitioner, then a night with the sleep test ring in your own bed.

  2. 2

    A consultation that goes deep

Dr. Lynch reads your study with you, examines your airway, jaw, teeth and gums, takes records of your bite and sets out the plan. It is a long visit on purpose.

  3. 3

Your appliance, fitted and followed up

A dental laboratory makes it to her records. She fits it, moves the jaw position in small steps until you sleep well, and checks the fit and your bite at every follow-up.

How we work

Free sleep assessment

One team looks after you from the first call to the last follow-up. We arrange the test, check your medical insurance and Medicare benefits before anything is ordered, keep every visit unhurried, and hold Saturday appointments for people who work during the week. You always know what happens next, and who to call.

Arizona’s top sleep experts

Dr. Janne Lynch sees patients in all three locations and has been busy doing what she loves: helping people sleep better. Many people simply cannot make it to an office Monday to Thursday during business hours, so AZ Sleep is open by appointment every Saturday for those who have to work during the week. The new patient examination is extensive on purpose, because it is where results start.
